9 rounds to work up to a heavy 1 RM of
- 5-5-3-3-3-1-1-1-1 x Bench Press
Then AMRAP in 8 minutes of
- 15 x Dumbbell Incline Bench Press @ 20kg per hand
- 12 x Kipping Pullups
- 9 x Deadlift @ Bodyweight (70kg)
Results: Got up to 95kg on the Bench in round 7, failed at 98kg. No round 9. Metcon 3 rounds plus 8 reps.
PM, 13.9.23: to spare my shoulder I did Deadlifts instead of Bench Press in part 1 and got up to 145kg in round 9. Metcon 3 rounds plus 6 reps (DL @85kg).
