TRX Work then Deadlifts, Burpees, Box Jumps and Row

3 rounds of

  • 6 x TRX Mountain Climbers (r+l=1 rep)
  • 3 x TRX Pike Press
  • Rest 2 minutes

Then every 2 minutes for 20 minutes

  • 5 x Strict Pullups
  • 10 x TRX Atomic Pushups

Then AMRAP in 12 minutes of

  • 5 x Burpees
  • 10 x Deadlift @ 115lbs/52kg
  • 15 x Box Jumps
  • 20 Cal Row

Results: Pullups and TRX APU worked well… did all rounds unbroken until round 9, then had to break up the pullups. Metcon 3 rounds plus 10 reps

Back Squats then a Landmine Complex

6 rounds of tempo pause Back Squats (32×1) with the following rep scheme, rest 1 minute between rounds

  • 6 x @ 60% of 1RM
  • 6 x @ 70%
  • 4 x @ 75%
  • 4 x @ 80%
  • 2 x @ 85%
  • 2 x @ 85%+

Then 3 rounds of the following complex resting 2 minutes between rounds, this WOD is based on Semir Jasarevic’s Instagram post from June 7…

  • 6 x Landmine Deadlift Rotation
  • 8 x Landmine Reverse Lunge
  • 10 x Landmine Squat
  • 10 x Landmine Alternating Single Leg Deadlifts (5 per leg)

Results: Back Squat 140-165-175-185-195-200lbs/91kg. Be careful on the weight ramp up, the pauses take a lot out so that ascent gets very sticky very fast. Complex done with 25lbs/20kg weight on bar. Rested 2-3 minutes between rounds.

Deadlifts then some Core Work

Take 15 minutes and work up to a heavy

  • 6 x Deadlift

EMOM for 10 minutes do both of the following in each minute

  • 2 x Deficit Deadlift @ 75% from above
  • 15 second Handstand Hold

Then three x 4 minute Tabatas of 20 second work, 10 second (8 rounds), rest 1 minutes between Tabatas

  • Tabata 1 – Crossover Mountain Climbers
  • Tabata 2 – Alternating single leg V-Ups
  • Tabata 3 – Single Leg Pike Lifts

Results: Part 1 225lbs/102kg. Part 2 used 170lbs/77kg.

Back Squats and Double Unders then TRX Rows, Pushups and Situps

5 rounds, working up to a heavy Back Squat

  • 6 x Back Squat
  • Rest 30 seconds
  • 50 x Double Unders
  • Rest 2 minutes

Then every 3 minutes for 9 minutes

  • 10 x Back Squat @ 60-65% from above

Then AMRAP in 8 minutes of

  • 8 x TRX Reverse Row
  • 12 x Pushups
  • 16 x Situps

Results: Back Squat 185lbs/84kg. Used 115lbs for the second part. Metcon 5 rounds plus 5 reps.

Bench Press Then KBS and DUs

6 rounds, rest 2 minutes between rounds

  • 5 x Bench Press @ 65%
  • 3 x Bench Press @ 75%
  • 1 x Bench Press @ 85%
  • 5 x Bench Press @ 75%
  • 3 x Bench Press @ 85%
  • 1 x Bench Press @ 95%

EMOM for 15 minute or until failure

  • 6 x Bench Press @ 50-60% of Max from above

Then for time

  • 75 x Heavy Kettlebell Swings @ 32kg
  • 300 x Double Unders

Results: Bench – 135-155-175-155-175-195lbs. Part 2 used 100lbs. Metcon 9:52.
