  • 3 x Deficit Deadlift @ 1.65 x Bodyweight from 10cm Step

Based on a Wodwell WOD from Insatgram. For time complete the following, EMOM stop and do 5 x Knees to Elbow (start first round with the 5 K2E)…

  • 25 x Alternating Hang Dumbbell Snatch @ 16kg (r+l=1rep)
  • 25 x DB Push Press @ 16kg
  • 25 x DB Hang Power Clean
  • 25 x DB Thrusters
  • 25 x Barbell Deadlifts @ 185lbs

Results: Used 255lbs/115kg for the Deadlifts. Metcon 16:57, real grip killer since K2E are so slow. Messed up and only did 25 Snatches 🤪. DL weight was too heavy… recommend dropping to 135lbs since I was only able to do 2-3 reps before losing hold.

Back Squats and a Kettlebell Finisher

Accumulate

  • 60 second L-Sit from Low Parallettes

Then 4 sets of

  • 6 x Pause Back Squats @ 60% of 3RM

Then a Kettlbell finisher based on this Instagram post from Joeller Blades. 4 rounds for time with a single Kettlebell…

  • 12 x Kettlebell Swings @ 24kg
  • 12 x Alternating Reverse Lunge, switch KB on each rep to step-back side (total, 6 per side)
  • 12 x Kettlebell Goblet Squat Cleans
  • 12 x Alternating Lateral Lunges (total, 6 per side)
  • Rest 90 seconds between rounds

Results: L-sits 10-10-10-15-15 sec per round. Used 135lbs for the Back Squats. Metcon total 14:29.

RFE Split Squats then Burpees, Front Squats and Situps

3 rounds of

  • 5 x Rear Foot Elevated Split Squat Each Leg @ 20kg Dumbbell per Hand
  • Rest 2 minutes between rounds

Then inspired by Street Parking’s Kemet Vault WOD…

3 sets for time

  • 5 x Burpees
  • 9 x Front Squats @ 110lbs
  • 7 x Weigthed Situp with 25lbs Plate
  • Repeat for 3 rounds
  • Rest 1 minute between sets

Results: Similar to another Street Parking WOD on Jan 5, but increasing the Front Squats from 7 reps and rounds to 9 reps and rounds. Metcon 14:27 – 4:04/4:13/4:10.

Bench Press and Bodyweight Strength

3 rounds of L-Sit Complex using low paralettes…

  • 10 second Seated Forward Fold
  • 10 x Pike Lifts with hands at knees
  • 10 x Pike Dips (Lift your butt)
  • 15 second Bent Knee L-Sit Hold (if possible extend legs before lowering)

Then 3 rounds of

  • 12 x Bench Press @ 70% Body Weight
  • 6-8 x L-Sit Pullups

Then 3 rounds of

  • 10 x TRX Rollouts (like a Barbell rollout but with hands in a TRX)
  • 10 x TRX Bicep Curl
  • 10 x TRX Tricep Extensions

Then accumulate

  • 25 x Strict Toes to Bar

Results: Used 1110lbs for the Bench Press. Otherwise done as shown.
