Bench Press then Row, Squats and Pushups

Every 2 minutes for 10 minutes

  • Set 1 – 5 x Bench Press @ 60%
  • Set 2 – 3 x Bench Press @ 70%
  • Set 3 – 3 x Bench Press @ 80%
  • Set 4 – 2 x Bench Press @ 90%
  • Set 5 – 1 x Bench Press @ 95%

Then AMRAP in 20 minutes

  • Row 10 Cal (15 Cal on Concept II)
  • 15 x Goblet Squats @ 24kg
  • 20 x Dynamic Plate Pushups

  • Max effort Ring/TRX Rows
  • 30 x Unbroken Bicep Curls

Results: Bench Press 135-165-185-195-205lbs. Metcon 6 rounds plus 3 reps. Had to use 3kg dumbbells for the Curls to make sure I could get all 30 in :-).

Back Squats then Pullups, HSPU and KBS

Every 2 minutes for 10 minutes

  • Set 1 – 5 x Back Squats @ 60%
  • Set 2 – 3 x Back Squats @ 70%
  • Set 3 – 3 x Back Squats @ 80%
  • Set 4 – 2 x Back Squats @ 90%
  • Set 5 – 1 x Back Squats @ 95%

7 rounds for time

  • 7 x Pullups
  • 7 x Handstand Pushups
  • 21 x Kettlebell Swings @ 32kg

Results: Beck Squats 155-175-195-215-225lbs (1RM 240lbs). Metcon in 16:55.

Cleans, Presses, Squats and Burpees

For time, reverse ladder of the following complex, going from 10 to 1.

  • 10 x DB Power Clean @ 30lbs per Hand
  • 10 x DB Push Press
  • 10 x DB Front Squat
  • 10 x Burpees over the Bar
  • 9 x DB Power Clean
  • 9 x DB Push Press
  • 9 x DB Front Squat
  • 9 x Burpees
  • etc.

Then 3 rounds of, resting as needed

Results: Metcon 11:45… longest round was 8 reps and took 1:45.

Power Cleans and Pullups then Double Unders, Power Cleans, and Pullups

A modified CF New England WOD to compliment the workout from last Thrusday.

6 rounds of

  • 3 x Power Clean
  • Rest 30 Seconds
  • 3 x Weighted Pullups @ 30lbs
  • Rest 2 minutes

Then AMRAP in 15 minutes of

  • 30 x Double Unders
  • 10 x Hang Power Cleans @ 85lbs
  • 30 x Double Unders
  • 10 x Pullups

Results: Power Cleans 115-125-135-140-145lbs. AMRAP 5 rounds plus 38 reps.

Bear Complex V then Front Squats and Situps

Doing the Bear Complex again. Last time was in June of 2018 and got up to 115lbs.

Complete 5 rounds of the following. Record max weight in the round where you are able to do a complete set unbroken (in other words, do not put the bar down, touch and go on the power clean until all 7 sets are done).

7 sets of the following series of movements:

  • Power Clean
  • Front Squat
  • Push Press
  • Back Squat
  • Push Press

Then 3 sets of

  • 5 x Front Squat

Then 3 sets of

Results: Got the 115lbs again, but just barely, so decided to stick at 115lbs for the rest of the rounds, breaking as needed. 65-95-115(Rx)-115 (4+3 reps)-115lbs(3+2+2 reps). Front Squats 135-155-165lbs.
