Results:  For the AMAP: 13:40.  Ave HR 158 / Max HR 174.

Sunday Workout 17.01.2016

Not for time do Deadlifts in the following format:

  • 5 x 70kg
  • 4 x 80kg
  • 3 x 90kg
  • 2 x 100kg
  • 1 x 110kg
  • 2 x 100kg
  • 3 x 90kg
  • 4 x 80kg
  • 5 x 70kg

Then do the Fight Gone Bad Workout.  3 rounds of the following, moving from station to station without rest for max reps (plus calories rowed):

  • Wall Balls, first minute
  • Sumo Deadlift Highpull @ 30kg, second minute
  • Box Jumps, third minute
  • Push Press @ 30kg, fourth minute
  • Row for Calories, fifth minute
  • Rest 1 minute

Results:   Didn’t count the FGB workout, but estimate that it came to between 200 and 300 reps.

 

Frogstands then Power Cleans and an AMRAP

Spend some time working on Frogstand to Handstand transition.

Then every 3 minutes for 18 minutes (6 rounds) do:

Then do AMRAP in 7 minutes of:

  • 7 x Dumbbell Snatch per Hand @ 20kg
  • 7 x Strict Toes to Bar
  • 14 Calorie Row

Results:  Not much to report on the Frogstands, didn’t make it all the way to Handstand this time.  For the clean did 40kg, 50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg (failed on the above knee rep), 60kg.  For the AMRAP did 3 rounds plus 10 x DB Snatch.

OH Reverse Lunges then Wall Walks, Deadlifts and Squats

Not for time, do 5 rounds of:

  • 6 x Overhead Reverse Lunges total @ 30kg

For time do 5 rounds of:

  • 3 x Wall Walks
  • 10 x Deadlifts @ 73kg (or Body Weight)
  • 10 x Front Rack Squats (I used my small sandbag) @ 15kg

Results:  Metcon in 11:15

Plate Walks and Muscle Ups, then Presses and Back Squats and finally, Box Jumps, Power Cleans and C2B Pullups

Practice the following by doing 4 Rounds of :

  • 3 x Plate Walks
  • 3 x Muscle Ups

Then do 4 rounds of the following:

  • 1 x Strict Press
  • Rest 1 minute
  • 3 x Back Squat
  • Rest 2 minutes

Then for time do 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 of the following.  Between each round do 3 x Chest to Bar Pullups.

  • Box Jumps
  • Power Cleans @ 50kg

Results: For Presses did  5 x 30kg, 5 x 40kg then 1-1-1-1 x 60kg.  For the Back Squat did 5 x 30kg, 5 x 40kg, 5 x 60kg, then 3-3-3 @ 85kg. The AMRAP took 18:37.
