Deadlifts and Lungesters

 Continuing to use the rep scheme from the CF Invictus WOD from March 14, 2019.

Deadlift

  • 5 x @ 75-80%
  • 3 x @ 80-85%
  • 2 x @ 85-90%
  • Max Reps at 80%

EMOM for 20 minutes (or as long as you can complete all reps in a round) count total complete rounds.  This is the Street Parking WOD from Marh 14 posted on Instagram.

  • 6 x Deadlifts @ 95lbs
  • 3 x Lungsters @ 95lbs

Results:  Deadlifts used 235-265-285lbs.  Max reps 11 @ 235lbs.  For the metcon, started as an EMOM, ended as a AMRAP.  Only got to 4 rounds plus 8 reps (5th minute) on the EMOM.  Rested 1 minute then continued as if an AMRAP for the rest of the 20 minutes.  Completed 6 rounds plus 7 reps for the second part.  Total 11 rounds plus 6 reps.  Should have gone with 75lbs.

Handstand Pushups then Power Cleans and Dips

5 rounds

  • 3-5 x Deficit Handstand Pushups
  • Rest 30 seconds
  • 2-3 x L-Sit Ring Pullups
  • Rest 2 minutes

For time (inspired by Crossfit Open WOD 15.4)

  • 3 x Power Cleans @ 135lbs
  • 3 x Ring Dips
  • 3 x Power Cleans
  • 6 x Ring Dips
  • 3 x Power Cleans
  • 9 x Ring Dips
  • 3 x Power Cleans
  • 12 x Ring Dips
  • 3 x Power Cleans
  • 15 x Ring Dips
  • 3 x Power Cleans
  • 18 x Ring Dips
  • 3 x Power Cleans
  • 21 x Ring Dips

Results:  Metcon 11:33.

Dumbbell Split Squats then Hang Cleans, Push Press, Squats and Burpees

Travelling WOD…

3 rounds 

  • 5 x Bulgarian Split Squat (back foot on bench each leg with 40lbs/18kg Dumbbell per hand

Then AMRAP in 12 minutes of

  • 5 x Dumbbell Hang Clean @ 35lbs
  • 5 x Dumbbell Push Press @ 35lbs
  • 5 x Dumbbell Squat
  • 5 x Burpees

Results:  Metcon 8 rounds plus 16 reps.

Dubai Championship WOD 18.1

For time (10 minute time cap)

  • 60 x Double Unders
  • 10 x Thrusters @ 75lbs/35kg
  • 60 x Double Unders
  • 20 x Thrusters @ 75lbs
  • 60 x Double Unders
  • 30 x Thrusters @ 75lbs

If completed before the 10 minutes are up, rest for the remaining time. 

Then 5 rounds for time (10 minute time cap)

  • 30 x Double Unders
  • 15 x Pullups

Results: First part 8:02.  Second part 9:50.

Squat Cleans then Reverse Lunges, T2B and Push Press

Over 10 minutes accumulate 2 minutes  L-Sit.  Break up as needed.

Every 3 minutes for 15 minutes

  • 1.1.1 Hang Squat Cleans

Then 4 rounds for time

  • 8 x Front Rack Reverse Lunges @ 95lbs
  • 8 x Toes to Bar
  • 8 x Push Press @ 95lbs

Results:  Cleans 105-115-120-125-130lbs. Metcon 6:28.
