Crossfit Mainsite WOD from Feb 8…For time (time cap 20 minutes)

  • 30 x Handstand Pushups
  • 30 x Deadlifts @ 185lbs/85kg
  • 30 x Ring Dips
  • 30 x Power Cleans @ 120lbs/55kg
  • 30 x Pullups
  • 30 x Thrusters @ 65lbs/30kg

Results: Completed only 3 Thrusters at the time cap. Guidance says you should be able to complete this WOD in under 15 minutes, so I guess my scaling was too heavy (had only completed 27 Power Cleans at 15 minutes)… should have gone with the women’s Rx weights…155-95-65lbs (70-43-30kg). Maybe next time.

Strict Presses then Cleans and Front Squats

3 rounds

  • 6 x Strict Press @80-85% of 1RM

Then 3 rounds of

  • Max Back Supported Seated Dumbbell Press @ 12kg per hand (back against wall or box)

CF New England’s “Opposites Attract” WOD…

  • 1-2-3…8-9-10 x Power Cleans @ 115lbs/52kg
  • 10-9-8…3-2-1 x Front Squats

Then accumulate

  • 2 Minutes L-Sit Hold

Results: Used 125lbs for the Strict Presses. Split the Presses again into 4.1.1-3.1.1.1-3.1.1.1. Seated Presses 15-15-15. Metcon 17:21.

OLY Power Complex then Row

CF Mainsite WOD from 18. Oct… for time

  • 9 x Deadlifts @ 245lbs/110kg
  • 15 x Front Squats @ 155lbs/70kg
  • 21 x Power Clean and Press @ 125lbs/57kg

Guidance on this WOD was to pick weights so that you can do the Deadlifts unbroken, Front Squats in less than 3 sets and the C&P in under 4 minutes.

Then finisher… AMRAP in 8 minutes of 30 seconds on/30 seconds off of

  • Row for Calories

Results: Metcon 14:33, including time to change weight. Deadlifts unbroken, Front Squats 2 rounds (8/7), C&P 8 minutes :(. Finisher 74 cal.

Strict Presses then Power Cleans, Bike and Dips

8 rounds to work up to a heavy 1RM

  • 5-5-3-3-2-1-1-1 x Strict Press

Then 3 rounds of

  • Max Unbroken Strict Press @ 80% of above 1RM
  • Rest 2 minutes between sets

Then for time

  • 9-6-3 x Power Cleans @ 135lbs
  • 400m Bike
  • 15-12-9 x Dips
  • 400m Bike

Results: Strict Press 80-95-115-125-135-145-155-150lbs/68kg. Used 120lbs for the second part 6-5-4. Metcon 11:25

Cleans, S2OH and Row

Repeat of a workout from Crossfit Invictus which we did on April 15, 2016.

Every 4 minutes, for 32 minutes (8 sets)

  • 5 x Power Cleans (43kg/95lbs)
  • 10 x Shoulder to Overhead (43kg/95 lbs)
  • Row 250m

Results: Not as hard as we made it sound last time, had almost 2 minutes rest per round. Of course last week in Crossfit I did 4 rounds of 10 x Strict Press @ 40kg so maybe that helped.
