Crossfit Mainsite WOD from Feb 8…For time (time cap 20 minutes)

  • 30 x Handstand Pushups
  • 30 x Deadlifts @ 185lbs/85kg
  • 30 x Ring Dips
  • 30 x Power Cleans @ 120lbs/55kg
  • 30 x Pullups
  • 30 x Thrusters @ 65lbs/30kg

Results: Completed only 3 Thrusters at the time cap. Guidance says you should be able to complete this WOD in under 15 minutes, so I guess my scaling was too heavy (had only completed 27 Power Cleans at 15 minutes)… should have gone with the women’s Rx weights…155-95-65lbs (70-43-30kg). Maybe next time.

Bench Press and Ring Dips then Row, Thrusters and T2B

Work up to a heavy

  • 1 x Bench Press

Then EMOM for 8 minutes or until you cannot complete all reps in a round

  • 8 x Ring Dips

Then for time, a variation on CF New England’s WOD from December 27, time cap 18 minutes

  • 60 Calorie Row
  • 30 x Thrusters @ 45lbs/20kg (empty bar)
  • 30 x Toes to Bar
  • 30 x Thrusters
  • 60 Calorie Row

Results: 1RM Bench Press (rep scheme 5-3-2-2-1-1-1) 220lbs/100kg… new 1RMby far! Dips 6 rounds, only could manage 7 reps in 7th round. Metcon 15:35.

Bench Press and Pullups then Reverse Rows and Dips

3 rounds, rest 3 minutes between rounds

  • Max Bench Press @ Bodyweight
  • Rest 30 seconds
  • Max Strict Pullups

Then 3 rounds, rest 2 minutes between rounds

  • 8 x Alternating Single Hand Raised Pushups from Yoga block (r+l=1rep)
  • 5 x Cable Pulldowns @ 66lbs/30kg

Then for time 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

  • Ring/TRX Reverse Rows
  • Ring Dips

Results: Used 70kg for the Bench Press. Part 1 12/10-9/10-8/8 reps. Metcon 8:43.

OH Press then Dips and SDLHP

3 rounds

  • 6 x Strict Press @ 75-80% of 1RM

Then the Crossfit workout from November 23… for time, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 reps of

  • Ring Dips
  • Sumo Deadlift High Pull @ 75lbs/34kg

Results: Used 120lbs/55kg for the Strict Press. Broke the sets up to get all reps in, rest no more than 30 secpnds between reps… set 1 – all 6 reps unbroken/set 2 – 5 plus 1/set 3 – 4 plus 1 plus 1. Metcon 8:32.

Bench Press and DB Press then DB Snatches and Ring Dips

3 rounds of

  • 6 x Bench Presss @ 10lbs heavier than last time

3 rounds of

  • 6 x Single Dumbbell Strict Press @ 18kg each side (do all on one side then immediately switch to the other)
  • Rest 2 minutes

AMRAP in 12 minutes of

  • 12 x Alternating Dumbbell Snatches @ 21kg (6 per side)
  • 12 x Ring Dips

Results: Used 165lbs/75kg for the Bench Press. Metcon 6 rounds plus 4 reps.
