Front Squats then Run, Row, KBS and Thrusters

Every 2 minutes for 12 minutes

  •  8 x Front Squats

Then AMRAP in 20 minutes of (taken from CF New England WOD from August 10)

  •  Run 200m
  •  Row 10 Calories (20 Calories on C2 Rower)
  •  20 x Kettlebell Swings @ 24kg
  •  20 x Wallballs/Sandbag Thrusters @ 15kg

Results:  Front Squats 95-105-115-125-135-145lbs. Metcon 3 rounds plus 200m + 20 cal + 8 reps.  

Run, Power Clean, Push Press and Toes to Bar

For time

  • Run 800m
  • 21 x Clean and Press @ 95lbs
  • 21 x Toes to Bar
  • Run 400m
  • 15 x Clean and Press
  • 15 x Toes to Bar
  • Run 200m
  • 9 x Clean and Press
  • 9 x Toes to Bar

Results:  17:24.  My distances were off so only ended up doing about 750m, 300m, 200m.  Good workout though.  To make it longer, do 2 rounds at 400m/15 reps and 3 rounds at 200m/9 reps (that was my original plan but wimped out).  Probably good to drop the weight to 80lbs for the long version.

Strict Press and Push Press then Pullups, Run and HSPU

Every 2 minutes for 8 minutes

  • 4 – 6 x Strict Press

Then every 2 minutes for 8 minutes

  • 4 – 6 x Push Press

Then AMRAP in 15 minutes

  • Run 400m
  • 10 x Pullups
  • 5 x Handstand Pushups

Results: Strict Press 95-105-110-115.  Push Press 115- 120-125-130.  4 rounds plus 400m.

Squat Cleans then Pullups, Burpees, Squat Cleans and Run

E2MOM for 16 minutes

3 x Hang Squat Clean

Then AMRAP in 12 minutes

  • 12 x Pullups
  • 8 x Bar Hop Burpees
  • 4 x Squat Cleans @ 95lbs
  • Run 200m

Results:  For the Squat Cleans 95-105-115-125-130-135-140-145(only 2 reps).  Metcon 3 rounds plus 21 reps.

Deadlifts, Squat Cleans, Front Squats, Push Press and Run

Taken from CF Invictus’ Get a Grip partner WOD.

For time do 50 rounds of the following complex

  • 1 x Deadlift @ 95lbs
  • 1 x Squat Clean @ 95lbs
  • 1 x Front Squat @ 95lbs
  • 1 x Push Press @ 95lbs

Every time you put the bar down (longer than a touch and go), run 400m.

Results:  34:29.  Broke it for the most part into 5 rounds between runs (7-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-4-4), so came to around 3600m total run.
