Strict Press and Push Press then Pullups, Run and HSPU

Every 2 minutes for 8 minutes

  • 4 – 6 x Strict Press

Then every 2 minutes for 8 minutes

  • 4 – 6 x Push Press

Then AMRAP in 15 minutes

  • Run 400m
  • 10 x Pullups
  • 5 x Handstand Pushups

Results: Strict Press 95-105-110-115.  Push Press 115- 120-125-130.  4 rounds plus 400m.

Strict Press then Deadlifts, Ring Dips and Push Press

Not for time do 5 rounds of Strict Press with the following rep scheme increasing weight per round. Between each set do 50 Double Unders then rest 2 minutes before starting the next round.

  • 5 – 5 – 2 – 2 – 1

AMRAP in 12 minutes (taken from the CF Invictus WOD from March 7, 2018)

  • 12 x Deadlift @ 165lbs
  • 12 x Ring Dips
  • 12 x Dumbbell Push Press @ 18kg

Results:  Strict Press 95-105-115-125-135lbs.  AMRAP 3 rounds plus 9 reps.

Press and Pullups then T2B, Power Clean and Push Press

Five rounds

  • 3 x Strict Press
  • Rest 30 seconds
  • 5 x Strict Pullups
  • Rest 90 seconds

Then 10 rounds for time of

  • 5 x Toes to Bar
  • 5 x Power Clean @ 110lbs
  • 5 x Push Press

Results:  Strict Press 95-115-130-135-140lbs.  Metcon in 18:10.

Turkish Getups, Farmers Carry and Handstand Hold then Strict Press

2 rounds, resting as needed between rounds

  • 2 x Turkish Getups per Side
  • 30m Single Arm Farmers Carry @ 24kg each arm (total 60m)
  • 30 second Handstand Hold

Then 5 rounds of

  • 10 x Strict Press

The goal is to pick weights so you can go unbroken.  Rest 2-3 minutes between rounds.  Then using the heaviest weight from the last round do 2 rounds of

  • Max effort Strict Press

Also resting 2-3 minutes between rounds.

Results:  Turkish Getups used 18 and 20kg.  Strict press 65-75-80-95-100lbs then max effort 8 and 8 reps.
