Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia

July, 2006

We decided to stop here for lunch on our way back home. As it turned out, it was well worth the 1 hour detour. The park is very well maintained and organized with boats to get you across the lakes, and busses to bring you back from the other end of the park. We took a one and a half hour hike along the paths to see the waterfalls and the lakes. The water was so incredibly clear you could see to the bottom everywhere.

Once we finished eating our lunch we motored on home, via the Holiday Inn in Venice.
